As the boat accelerates, the water pushes up on the trim plates providing lift to the stern which minimizes bow rise, and allows the boat to plane quickly.

Once the water pressure exceeds the actuator load rating (maximum lift) the trim plates move up to a horizontal position eliminating any drag. Even when cruising Nauticus trim tabs continue to work like shock absorbers. The constant adjustment to sea conditions allow Nauticus trim tabs to provide remarkable stability in turns, while crossing waves, cruising, and running at maximum speeds. No more sliding, porpoising, or chine walking. The dampen reaction of the actuators senses changes in water pressure to provide smooth and undetectable reaction changes.

Nauticus vs. Other Brands:
While most other trim tabs offer increased performance, Nauticus offers key advantages over competitive brands. The first is the relative ease of installation. Smart tabs can be installed by the average boater in less than an hour using simple tools (screwdriver, wrench, and a drill). Each easily mounts to either side of the transom with attachment hardware included in the box. Other brands require complicated installation typically taking 4 hours that should be performed by experienced technicians.

The other key advantage of Nauticus trim tabs is that they are fully automatic. Once installed and adjusted, they do not require any operator control while underway. With other brands, the boater must constantly adjust the tab settings using manual switches according to how the boat is driven. Taking Care of Your AquaGlide Towable

With proper care, your Aquaglide towable should last for years. Keep your Aquaglide inflatable away from sharp items, barnacles and heavy abrasion. Sliding the inflatable hull over grass or soft sand is OK, but be certain to check for hidden items or shells that may puncture or cut the bladder. Avoid contact with any surface that could splinter, cut or puncture the bladder.

Salt water use is fine, but whenever possible, rinse your Aquaglide product with fresh water after use. Never use harsh chemicals, bleach or abrasives to clean the hull and/or cover. A few ounces of mild liquid dish soap in a gallon of water should help to loosen accumulated dirt from the cover, if needed. After using mild soap, rinse well with clear water. Be certain to dry thoroughly before stowing.

Using an electric pump on deflate setting (such as the Turbo 110v or 12v pumps) is the best way to remove all remaining air in the bladder. Use a forefinger to pull the valve flap to the outside of the valve (Rapid-inflate valve), or remove the valve cap (Boston valve) allowing air to flow freely from the bladder chamber. Fold and flat-roll toward the valve, pushing air out as you go. Store in a cool, dry location, away from sun exposure.
