Minn Kota's new Fortrex Trolling Motors

Did Minn Kota do something new again??? Yes, the new Fortrex series trolling motors are here!!

The Only Motor We've ever kept in solitary confinement

The Mono-Arm: Your New Secret Weapon
Sometimes, the simplest solution is best. In this case, it's a revolution. Fortrex's innovative Mono-Arm Design features an extruded, anodized aluminum, structural beam that operates with no metal-to-metal contact and 75% less torsion. A single hinge point and rear pivot bearing with 20% more surface area deliver less wear, longer life and quieter operation than traditional motor mounts

Why'd we leave the solid, extruded aluminum arm exposed on the new Minn Kota Fortrex? So everyone else on the water knows what they're up against: the most ruthless mount we've ever unleashed. With fewer moving parts, tighter tolerances and less give, Fortrex is the beefiest, meanest, quietest motor ever. Consider yourself warned.

Counter-Tension Stabilizer (CTS)
CTS uses an integrated spring that applies force whether the motor's stowed or deployed. On the water, that translates to a motor with no play, no give, reduced steering torque and silent operation

Lift-Assist Eases Stow and Deploy
Fortrex's patented Lift-Assist design cuts the weight of stow and deploy in half, making it as easy as lifting your SUV tailgate. Features a stainless steel, nitrogen gas-charged spring

Removable Bowguard 360°
Lifting the motor and bowguard off of the mount is now even easier on Fortrex - just remove a single cap screw. The patented Bowguard 360° also features a dual bearing system that eliminates noise and allows for improved breakaways from any angle.

Cable Steer foot Pedal
Fortrex's foot pedal boasts a new ergonomic design that's easier to operate, with more room for your foot and more exact speed control.

All Minn Kota Fortrex Motors are on sale now at eBuyersWorld.com

Was fooled by Minn Kota Fortrex advertisement such as "The only motor we've ever kept in solitary confinement-We hit it with a sledge hammer, hundreds of hours on the water testing, and only then were we certain it was ready to be unleashed. No play, no give our beefiest, meanest, quietest motor ever. Well, I purchased one three months ago and their is a squeaking/creaking noise coming from the bracket or the Bowguard 360. Also very hard to steer at higher speeds. It is not the quietest motor ever! Was told to bring to authorized service center (approximately 2 hrs for my home) or ship to factory to be checked out. I request a new motor or my money back. Was told they would try to meet me half way (Half way on a $1,400 new motor) by sending me a prepaid label to send to factory or I could go to authorized service center. Ever try to find a box to ship a trolling motor in? How is that for caring about your long time customer who has owned probably 10 Minn Kota Motors and just spent $1,400+ on a new motor. Needless to say they have one unsatisfied customer who is looking at MotorGuide motors. Take my advice, if this is how much they care about customers, do not buy Minn Kota!
